Okay I just finished this one today. When I started it I had a very specific plan but as the work progressed the plan simply wouldn’t work. I ended up cutting the background out and just keeping what you see as a portrait. So now I have to think of a title for it. Anyone have any ideas? I’m totally open to suggestions!

I will leave the title to you me thinks but a very executed portrait, was this from life or a photo? It’s very accurate.

Thank you. I got my brother to pose for a photo shoot and I drew this from one of the resulting photos. Well, I should say it was partially drawn from a photo and partially drawn from my imagination. I never like to copy exactly what I see. I like to be creative and just use the photo as a guideline to keep things proportionately accurate.

Solitude. Its so quiet and calm and lonely but in a good way, like its temporary.

Oh, I like that! I think that’s the one I’ll use. Wow, what a story that conjures in my mind. Thank you!

There are so many things he could be intently questioning, is the feeling I get. His youth is balanced just enough by the onset of high-cheek bone wrinkles, and the determined jaw. He senses an important decision that is his alone, and it is unfairly beyond his years.
The fact that you have him looking down, suggests a control one might not care to own at any age.
Glad to know UnSure
is up for consideration.
Looking forward to your story.
